First Client Adolescence
D: 17years-old male shared that as a teenager he was depressed, even though his family were loving and he made good grades in his subject, client future was looking bright yet his has dark secret that hunted him. Client stated that he was bullied at school by his classmate, like any teenager, client wanted to fit in with kids of his age by accepting invitation of going to parties and drinking alcohol, believing that was the norm in high school. During my freshman year I discovered that the euphoria from alcohol beat the adrenaline rush made alcohol to became a defense blanket to client. Client shared that alcohol coated him up the self-confidence problems that he had secretly felt all his life. Client stated that he never saw alcohol as problem. Until his grades started dropping, and missing classes, late homework etc. Client stated his depression become even severe when he discovered his bad grades. Client find it hard to sleep, then choose to heroin to enable him sleep. Client stated that he was prescribed Vicodin for the pain when he had dislocation on left shoulder, while playing football. After taking the prescription he frequent had headaches and crave for more, at some point, client had to buy Vicodin online, because he loved the way it made him feel, as per client, his tolerance for the Vicodin increased and he had dropped out of school, client stated that he truly know that he needed help.
