Your impression of behaviors: Based upon the client’s response to the request made by the nurse and the doctor’s orders, it is important to recognize the client’s frustration, confusion, anger, and annoyance at the nurse in this situation. However, most importantly, the client appears to be exercising these emotions in response to the situation at hand rather than the nurse. The nurse happens to be involved in the client’s care; however, her participation is not necessarily the reason for which the client is lashing out.
