Major Social Issues
One major social issue that happened during the time of Isabel Adams Hampton Robb was the rise of industrial America. “Between 1880 and 1900, cities in the United States grew at a dramatic rate” (City Life in the Late 19th Century, 2016, para. 1). While a lot of the population growth in the cities was due to Immigrants that arrived from around the world, there were a lot of people moving from rural areas into the cities.
